NV Champagne
I am looking for recommendations for a good NV Champagne that has only a slight hint of sweetness, but almost bordering brut...Not expensive, but somewhere in the range of 30 to 60 bucks...Any suggestions?
Re: NV Champagne
Pol Roger White Label.
Re: NV Champagne
Good choice
Re: NV Champagne
Third the motion on PR white label.
Like Charles Heidsieck or Piper Heidsiek for something a little off brut.

Schramsberg Blanc d Noir
Re: NV Champagne
Bollinger Special Cuvee Brut at ~$45 is a good choice as well
Re: NV Champagne
Veuve Clicquot fits the description except for the word "good."
Like others, I also like the Pol Roger, but its a little hard to find.
Bollinger is fabulous, but dry, not borderline sweet. In my market, it costs considerable more than $45 (but it's well worth it; very close to Krug MV).
